For mornings when you wake up and the truth feels so close to your surface. Rest your eyes gently. Invite the courage to breathe in the complexity of this world so that you might exhale the medicine that is your tenderness and light. Know that you are loved beyond measure. Know that you are love beyond measure. Stay soft in the face of a hard world. It makes all the difference.

My beloved brother, Aidan, wrote this to me in a birthday note, and I’ve read it to myself nearly every morning since receiving it. May it be the gentle reminder that so many of us could use right now.
With love,
Raina
Finding Stillness
OUR READING FOR THE WEEK AHEAD:
This week opens with the Seven of Cups reversed, an energy that feels like the fog beginning to lift. Where things may have felt murky, overwhelming, or full of too many maybes, there’s now a quiet return to clarity—not the kind that arrives in a lightning flash, but the kind that comes through the body. A subtle knowing of what’s yours and what isn’t. A remembering that you don’t have to chase every possibility or respond to every pull. You get to choose what feels most true, even if it doesn’t make sense to anyone else.
We’re moving toward The Sun, a card that invites us to step into warmth, simplicity, and joy without apology. This is about letting yourself be seen in your fullness—not because you’ve figured everything out, but because you’ve decided to stop hiding. At the same time, we’re letting go of the Ten of Swords reversed, releasing the habit of rehearsing old pain or bracing for the worst. That version of the story—where it always ends in disappointment or burnout—doesn’t get to be the narrator anymore. There’s light coming through, and this week, you’re allowed to feel it.
— An invitation for further inquiry: What becomes clear when I stop bracing for the worst and let my joy be the guiding light?

A note on imperfection & typos — Being blessed with the gift of dyslexia means typos often sneak in, sometimes comically. As I continue disentangling from perfectionism and sharing more freely, I’m spending less time editing and trusting it’s okay to show up just as I am. Please know that any typos you spot reflect my imperfect human nature, not a lack of care or devotion. (I know this needs no explanation, but openly acknowledging this part of myself is deeply healing, so thank you for witnessing.)
